Fully balanced design built by discrete analog stages without any OPA and couple caps in the signal channels.
Non- feedback ACSS analog output stage .
R-core transformers.
Total of 7-group dedicated power circuits are used to purify the power supply.
Four-channel digitally controlled relay-based volume control to avoid channel imbalance and improve sound quality. NFB-10SE has 48 steps volume level control in both high gain mode and low gain mode. The total 96-step volume control ensures smooth control of the volume level.

If only the RCA or 6.3MM headphone  is used, is the NFB-10 being wasted or not fully utilized?
       NFB-10 is a real balanced DAC . It has balanced output (ACSS, XLR and balanced headphone output) and single-ended output . There are 4 ACSS amplifiers in the NFB-10 for balanced outputs and balanced inputs. Even when a single-ended output is used, the “Dual WM8741” DA chips will perform fully thanks to the fully balanced design.

         Right off the first song, the sound is the clearest i have ever heard thru my DT770/600ohm Beyer in single mode.
         Alot of depth...alot of everything...the tone, the timbre...the word has to be..there is an AUTHORITY in the sound. (I havent got any headfones with 4pin yet...cant wait to be shockkkkkked further.)
         Now to look for someone to change the adaptors for me..:P


         I have been listening thru the nite...the sound coming out of this dac-amp is so good that i am seriously considering selling my other 2 amps...lol
         The sound is NOT cold...slightly warm...just nice... going to make my tube amps redundant.
